Manuscript wiki

I've finally worked out how to do this in a wiki environment (a lot of fiddling with html).  The result is here

http://mywikibiz.com/User:Ockham/sandbox

It shows a column from a manuscript (Peter of Cornwall's sophismata) with a transcript next to it.  What's the point?  Well it's a wiki so anyone with permission can edit the page and this would make the task of transcription a lot easier.  For test purposes I scaled down the image to 160k which is not really sufficient - the original was over 800k - but this can easily be fixed.

Wikis are also great for showing an audit trail of changes, any of which can be quickly reversed.  This edit

corrects an error in the original transcription.
