http://mywikibiz.com/User:Ockham/sandboxIt shows a column from a manuscript (Peter of Cornwall's sophismata) with a transcript next to it. What's the point? Well it's a wiki so anyone with permission can edit the page and this would make the task of transcription a lot easier. For test purposes I scaled down the image to 160k which is not really sufficient - the original was over 800k - but this can easily be fixed.
Wikis are also great for showing an audit trail of changes, any of which can be quickly reversed. This edit
corrects an error in the original transcription.
